The season is officially over for us today, having played our last league game last night. We proved the Quakenation critics wrong by beating XPD in the Wireplay cup, putting us 3rd in our group behind Federation and Demonic Core. We have no league commitments now, so we should be inactive for the next few weeks, with Clan-Wars unlikely to start until February at the earliest. I would like us to go in the BWDML next season - I don’t know if they have their quota of clans signed up, but I don’t think the next season will be starting for awhile anyway. Happy Christmas etc, maybe I should get some of those snowflakes floating down the page like some websites have….?

Clan Wars 4v4 DM leauge just finished. We came joint second on points in div3, third on frag difference. Elite Killers did well throughout and deserved to come first, although I think we deserved 2nd

Played Kudos today on cpm4 (if I have called it gay in the past, i take it back). Spoonman had a UT game as usual on a Thursday, but we had our fourth lpb…. Quozl! Even out of practise, he still managed to 0wn all around him and we won by 50 frags in a good game where we controlled the main area well.

All the conditions were against us in the clanwars league last thursday against eK - bad ping, without our best team, good opposition, bad map, dest getting dissed, etc, and we got railed to bits by Elite Killers on dm6. Sunday we had to make do without lpb Pred and we lost 50-83 to Na Daghda. Was a good game though - Jay 0wned for nD, while Spoonman instilled some quad rapage for us.

Last week we lost in the IQ3CL to BiO, and the Clan Wars game against Acid was postponed until today. We had a default over Hurlin in the IQ3CL, and beat Acid in a good, fast paced game on q3mexx1.

Both of our leagues started the same week, and we played IR on wednesday (rescheduled from Sunday because they didn’t have a team). It was a very enjoyable game against my old clan, but we had it nailed down from the start and won by 142 frags, putting us top of the table. In the clanwars league, we played XPD. We were missing our best lpb Spoonman, and it was unfortunate that Bug and I, both using Ocean, got disconnected at the same time. During the 2 minutes when we were reconnecting, XPD managed to rake up a lot of frags, and we weren’t able to come back.

The Irish Quake 3 Clan League is starting on Sunday 1st October. We have drawn Silent Death in the first round on dm6, followed by Acid on dm7, BiO on dm8, Hurlin on dm6tmp, na Daghda on dm14tmp, se7en on q3mexx1, and finally PS on ztn3dm1. Some tricky enough fixtures there. I’ve never heard of Silent Death, so I can’t comment on that fixture but all the remaining ones could be difficult, nD and PS both being far more experienced than use on dm14tmp and ztn3dm1.

I got username and pass so we can update when we want now. We entered in the Clanwars 4v4 league - starting on Oct 5th. We’re in Div 3, and there are 2 other Irish teams there with us: Na Daghda, and Acid.
