Quake.ie is back after being down awhile, so theres loads to update on, but I can’t remember half of it I’d say. Anyway - we entered the Wireplay Cup. With 5 seeded teams and 4 groups, we were lucky to get only one seeded team in our group D. We were blessed with an easy passage through to the next round, with XPD being the only challenge for second place (and we know anything near our best team should be able to beat them). Here was the other clans in our group: Federation, Dark, =/\= (Trek), XPd.

Quakenation predicted us to come third, but that was only because we lost to XPd in clanwars, and we were very unlucky in that game; no Spoon or Quozl, Lorc lagg0red, but it was me and bug getting disconnected at the same time that led to us losing.

Worse luck though, Trek (newbie clan I’d say) are gone from the league. Guess who replaced them? Demonic Core!! How unlucky is that? In our lovely group, the one gimme match where we could play all our hpb’s has changed into the hardest we’ll ever have I’d say. Ah well

We’ve kept busy enough waiting for the Se7en game, having a load of friendlies against Titan, eXcesS, PR and Acid. Speaking of Acid, get the demo here of the secret on ztn that Havok and Sico found, its really good.

Clan Wars 4v4 DM leauge just finished. We came joint second on points in div3, third on frag difference. Elite Killers did well throughout and deserved to come first, although I think we deserved 2nd

We had no IQ3CL game last sunday with Se7en postponing. No Clan Wars this week either, since we have a default. I was trying to work out the maths last night, and it looks like we’ll be coming third unless Kudos beat xPD by between 37 and 63 frags. It was a good league anyway - I’ll be looking forward to next season

Played Kudos today on cpm4 (if I have called it gay in the past, i take it back). Spoonman had a UT game as usual on a Thursday, but we had our fourth lpb…. Quozl! Even out of practise, he still managed to 0wn all around him and we won by 50 frags in a good game where we controlled the main area well.

Week 6 of the IQ3CL is postponed until next Sunday, when we’ll play se7en on mexx1. Our final match of the Clan Wars league is on Thursday against Kudos, we have a default after that. A win could put us second - I haven’t done the maths, but I don’t think we can come first because we have lost twice. Last Thursday we played Viscious Fruit Clan, well known in CTF, but this is their first TDM league. We won by 13 frags in a close game on dm8.
